My path to American medicine was not the conventional one. I started as a volunteer with a municipal local squad, earned my EMT certification, and taught myself the US healthcare system from the ground up through relentless research. I overcame the very real obstacles of being an immigrant and an older graduate — challenges most mentors have never faced. I matched into General Surgery, then transitioned to my true calling: Internal Medicine, where I now serve as a Resident Training Preceptor.

That journey is what drove me to build MedBridge Global. I know firsthand what FMGs face — the isolation, the confusion, the quiet discrimination — and I built this platform so that no talented doctor has to navigate it alone.
